Hey, Kevin,
I went to early church service in the pouring rain, but the msg was worth every soaked piece of clothing I was wearing and my shoes were like wearing sponges as they too were soaked. It was really a good laugh as I couldn’t get my umbrella to open (it was so simple but my brain wasn’t in gear) so what could an ole lady almost 80 years old do but make Lemon Aid out of her Lemon situation? I made myself a quick sandwich and took nap. In that nap time, we had VERY BAD WIND that did a lot of damage to the sports field complex that is minutes from me and I never heard a sound.
I wish I could say I’m “Receiving liposuction at an undisclosed location” LOL LOL. That choice cracked me up. Happy Mother’s Day to all the mother’s out there.

We spent a three day weekend at our Cottage, the first visit of the year. Packed up everything that we had taken out when it was closed down last fall and loaded it into cottage on Friday – with basic checkups for mouse problems, etc. washed a number of dishes, etc, as who knows what mice do in the cupboards while it is closed up, despite all our efforts to limit their fun. It was COLD, and the cottage is unheated, so slept under piled quilts! Saturday did some cleaning and my husband fixed the toilet which needed a “flapper-fixer” and we cooked lovely flounder in parchment paper with pears poached in caramel sauce for dessert. Sunday had dear friends over to lunch – baked chicken thighs, baked red potatos, serve yourself salad and lovely blueberry pie brought by friend! Then laughed a lot playing Chronology. Not only did we enjoy being there, but the cats adored it! They LOVE the big screened porch as we do not have one at home – they can watch all the critters while on it!
Lovely Mothers Day weekend!
