Too Much Rain

BY Kevin Lee Jacobs | July 3, 2009 4 Comments

Last updated on December 2nd, 2011

As I write this, rain is hammering my garden, and thunder is shaking my house. Thus, no photos today. I will, however, leave you with this gem: Carole King singing “Too Much Rain.” It’s truly lovely — and appropriate.

That song really takes me back – to Junior High School! I listened to her “Music” album as much as Tapestry, which came before.

Great song, but why not pick (orchestra swells) “the sun will come out…TOMORROW!”

I love that Carol King song! She is a great artist. Has it stopped raining there where you are kevin? It is sunny here!

    Best, Jed

Jed, I can't get this song out of my head. Great lyric. So moody.

The deluge seems to have stopped for now. Lovely today, clear, calm and not humid. Saw a delightful, young doe in the Woodland Garden this morning, on one of the rare occasions that I did not have my camera with me!
