It’s an accurate title, too. For I went out with my tiny “Flip” camcorder this morning, intending to produce a video-tour of the rose garden. While wandering the (buried) blue-stone walk, however, I discovered much work to be done. Watch me slip, slide, and almost fall a few times while attempting to maneuver in 12 inches of snow.
Did it snow where you are, too?

LOL! Another title for your video could be: DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME!!!
Randy J says
Kevin,
I like how the fountains look like large wedding cakes! Thanks for the video.
You should lash up those Arbs before the next snow tomorrow. Of course navigating a step ladder in the snow will not be fun or easy.
Kevin Lee Jacobs says
Eric – indeed!
Randy – Lash up the arbs? On a step-ladder? In one foot of snow? I. Don't. Think. So. But I'm happy to film YOU doing it!
Janis in Chicago says
Wow! Looks like my yard a few weeks ago. Be careful out there, Kevin!
Erin says
Although the snow is beatiful, Im really looking foward to a Green Spring! I too can't see any of my mini greenhoues! so much snow….
Kevin Lee Jacobs says
Janis – Thanks, I will be careful. The snow is “Beagle High” meaning my poor Lily can't walk in it! Thus, she hops!
Erin – Because the next 7 days are supposed to be above freezing, I suspect this snow will melt rapidly (unless we get slammed again). In March our winter-sown seeds should start to germinate! Can't wait!
Adele says
I hope you'll consider making a video of your garden when the bulbs are in bloom!
Kevin Lee Jacobs says
Adele – yes, some pleasant spring morning, and while the birds are singing, I'll head out again with my little video gadget. Maybe I'll get the “hang” of filming by then!
