As I mentioned in the video, fennel affords a mild “licorice” perfume. It does not, however, smell or taste like candy-store licorice. Fennel’s anise-y air is both pure and pleasant.
Now, please don’t forget this easy veggie gratin! It’s delicious. It’s easy to make. I discovered the dish back in 2013, and I’ve been making it ever since. I hope you’ll give it a try someday.
